I regularly took part in the UK Mathematics Challenge and hold several 'Best in School' certificates to my name. I studied independently for additional qualifications in statistics and further mathematics at GCSE and A Level respectively. At degree level I achieved a 2:1 BSc Hons in Mathematical Sciences from Bath University, one of the very top universities in the country for this subject. Having completed my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics I went on to work at Ivybridge Community College, which has been rated an outstanding school in its last four Ofsted reports.
