I am a science graduate that loves Maths! I make Maths fun and easy to understand so you will obtain a better grade in your exams. I teach A-level Maths and GCSE Maths and Science.
I love working with high achievers ensuring that they have a deep and full understanding of the theory and concepts underpinning Maths and Science, in that way students can be confident in applying their knowledge and skills correctly.
On-line teaching for Maths works equally well as face-to-face. Since Covid, many of my students continued their tutoring online, and all of my new students have continued with online lessons. The feedback i have received indicates that online Maths and Science tutoring works equally well as face-to-face tutoring.
I have always loved maths and science and I have a real ability to make problems clear and easy to understand, improving your fundamental understanding and applying it to the exam questions.
I believe every student has the ability to excel in Maths; using visual aids and a good grasp of the fundamentals, GCSE and A-Level Maths can be mastered quite easily.
I have experience in teaching AQA, Edexcel, OCR and OCR MEI exam boards for A-level Maths.
This is my sixth year working as a personal tutor, in previous years all my students have passed their exams. Here are some messages I have received :

I like to engage my students in their work, studying Maths and Science can be really rewarding and stimulating, I find that when students can solve problems for themselves and develop a deeper understanding of the fundamentals they can start to enjoy maths and science and look forward to our sessions.
In my spare time, I work as a sailing instructor with a charity and also help my own kids with their ‘A’ levels and GCSEs.
I have a science degree from Plymouth University obtaining a 2:1 (Hons) B.Sc. in Geography.
